NikeLab partners up with Berlin-based designer Johanna Schneider to bring a fresh aesthetic to women’s training gear through a versatile capsule collection. The NikeLab x JFS collection is comprised of a range of outfits designed to be fully adaptable for different stages of a workout, by changing the volume and position on the body of the garments. Blending Nike’s technical and technology knowledge with Schneider’s modular design perspective, the collection draws inspiration from the human body and its organic construction, and is “built to move and interact with the female body in motion.” With this in mind the range utilizes laser-cut patterns and lightweight bonded finishes along with Nike’s signature performance materials like Dri-FIT for a sophisticated range of training gear. Among the items offered are tights and bras, sleeveless cape, culottes shorts in addition to other workout staples. The NikeLab x JFS 2015 spring collection will be available starting February 26 at NikeLab locations, select retailers, and the webstore.
