BAIT x AND1 Tai Chi “Blue Apple”

Footwear retailer BAIT‘s first project of the year comes in the form of a premium approach to the iconic AND1 Tai Chi basketball shoe. Originally released in the early 2000s, the classic silhouette was famously seen on Vince Carter’s feet at the 2000 dunk contest where he put on quite a show. This special collaboration was designed to celebrate the 2015 edition of the dunk contest which is scheduled to take place on Valentine’s Day. The shoe features BAIT’s signature Blue Apple colorway, with the bright red hue covering the perforated suede along the lateral portion of the shoe and the contrasting light blue covering the smooth suede section which wraps around the medial side over to the toe. The vibrant, two-tone upper rests atop an ivory midsole and a tan outsole. Priced at $110 USD, the BAIT x AND1 Tai Chi “Blue Apple” is now available for purchase at all four BAIT stores and on the webstore.
