Dilla Weekend to Feature Joey Bada$$, Madlib, Pete Rock, esta. and More

It’s been nearly nine years since American producer J Dilla passed away, but his memory lives on and, what was once Dilla Day (February 7) has now evolved into Dilla Weekend. The event, running February 5 to 8, is put on by the late artist’s mother Maureen ‘Ma Dukes’ Yancey in Miami and will feature a barrage of huge artists like Joey Bada$$, Madlib, Pete Rock, Talib Kweli, Slum Village, Black Milk, esta., and Camp Lo, with more to come.
