Back in 2010, Caribou went on a tour with a big live band the Caribou Vibration Ensemble, which included Four Tet’s Kieran Hebden, Sinkane’s Ahmed Gallab, James Holden, Enon/Braniac’s John Schmersal and more. The tour was followed by a live album in 2011, which featured live recordings from the band’s concerts in London and Ghent, Belgium. The album comes out as an LP version today with its proceeds going to Gendered Intelligence, in memory of the late sound engineer Julia Brightly. You can listen to the project below and while you’re at it, also make sure to check out his 1,000-track mixtape and his new mix for BBC Radio 6.
