Nike’s Chinese audience was treated to a special release earlier this week as the brand dropped a remastered version of the Air Force 1 Highs that recall a vintage construction. Here we take a closer look at the “NAI KE” release, highlighting the particular attention to detail that Nike so evidently paid to the design. The slimmer profile of this AF1 is its most distinguishing, making it a more versatile shoe than before. The upper is executed with thick, supple white leather, with a contrasting red suede Swoosh neatly stitched on the sides. At the ankle area, an ankle strap runs through a neatly adorned heel counter, while a branded sockliner finishes off the shoe. Chinese shoppers can pick these up at the mid of January.
