Titled “Run,” KRISVANASSCHE‘s Fall/Winter 2014 collection drew its inspiration from the work of John Baldessari, the American conceptual artist known for his work with black-and-white photography, photomontages and appropriated images. The Belgian designer’s cold weather range, appropriately, featured plenty of black-and-white looks punctuated with pops of color and pattern, as well as KRISVANASSCHE’s signature contemporary touches. A mix of sportswear, traditional menswear and pop elements, this season’s highlights include an all-over chevron stripe wool varsity jacket, a short black pea coat with multiple patch pockets, and the two-toned Hybrid Chemise Imprime Chevron Sweatshirt. Styles like the Black and White T-Shirts and Tapered Leg Chino Pants, meanwhile, round out the new releases and offer clean, luxurious riffs on year-round wardrobe staples.
