How The Role Will Develop

101 Media Lab Limited requires an Editorial Assistant to coordinate and plan the further development of our brand. With your multitasking abilities and quick thinking, you will aid in finding resources for our posts as well as participating in other editorial activities. Your responsibilities will range from corresponding with artists and record labels to coordinate editorial content. This is a great experience to work behind the scenes of an online music publication.

Responsibilities

Writing, assisting and supporting editorial staff in all activities leading to publication
Liaising with other departments and contributors to negotiate and monitor timescales for stages in the publishing process
Organizing and researching projects based on deadlines
Obtaining rights to use materials from other publications
Cooperate with brands internationally and locally to gather products
Using your own specialist knowledge to contribute ideas
May be called upon to write posts, newsletter, press releases and etc.

Qualifications

Must be based and eligible to work in Hong Kong
Fluency in English is an absolute must (spoken and written)
Knowledge of conversational Cantonese would be preferred
Knowledge of current music trends and chart topics
General understanding of music streaming services
Profound attention to detail and is able to multitask a number of projects at any given time
Proactive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Be the owner of an enthusiastic personality!
