adidas Basketball Unveils John Wall's First Signature Shoe

After leading Washington to the second round of the playoffs and taking home individual honors like his first NBA All-Star selection and the 2014 Slam Dunk Contest crown, Wizards star John Wall is set to receive his first adidas signature for the upcoming 2014-2015 NBA season. Simply dubbed the J Wall 1, Wall’s new kicks feature a sleek, bold design inspired by his quick on-court play. Highlighted by full-length adiprene+ cushioning for enhanced responsiveness and comfort, as well as a superior heel-to-toe transition, the design incorporates a lateral FITFRAME for control during explosive cuts while a unique air mesh textile upper offers supreme comfort and breathability in conjunction with ripstop overlays for enhanced durability. Finally, aesthetic nods to Wall and D.C. appear throughout in the form of a brand new logo, a crossover-inspired motif on the tongue and toe, and a map of the United States — complete with lines connecting every NBA city — on the outsole.

The J Wall 1 launches at adidas.com and Foot Locker on October 31 for $115 USD in two different colorways while additional colorways will launch throughout the NBA season.
