NOWNESS presents a portrait of Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, which is backed up by a soundtrack artist Flying Lotus. The film is a result of a collaborative effort that involves a sculpture of the Prometheus star, which was created by Throup and is based on his New Object Research concept. Besides depicting a three-dimensional portrait of Rapace, it also serves as a portrait of her by acting as a metaphor for the various chronological steps in the actor’s process. FlyLo supports the piece with an intricate yet ambient and hypnotic sound arrangement, which further whets the appetite for his forthcoming Warp release You’re Dead.
