For an edition of their Crate Diggers series, Fuse caught up with Afrika Bambaataa for an interview and a closer look inside his vinyl collection. The 57-year-old sage’s collection of vinyls served a major part in helping to lay the foundations for and define the then-burgeoning genre of hip-hop, and all 600-plus boxes of his records are stored at Cornell University.
