Mick Jenkins - Jazz

Chicago upstart Mick Jenkins is set to release his new project, The Water[s], on August 12, and has dropped off a visual for album cut “Jazz.” The OnGaud-produced track receives the visual treatment courtesy of director Nathan R. Smith and GoodBoy Media, who place the track into the album’s overall theme with their video narrative. Jenkins’ new project uses water as “a metaphor for truth in life,” and this song’s accompanying video follows the same suit. There’s a drought in Chicago, and there are those out there willing to hustle and steal to get their hands on the one essential thing we all take for granted.
