Barry Jenkins Directs Prada’s Cinematic FW26 “Simple Stories” Campaign

Prada has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, titled “Simple Stories,” a project conceived by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons that emphasizes the extraordinary within the ordinary. Brought to life by Oscar-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins, the campaign captures fragments of implied narratives through both still and motion imagery.

An international cast featuring Hunter Schafer, Troye Sivan, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Chen Haoyu, inhabits these reflective, personal environments, blurring the boundary between performance and authentic reality. With creative direction by Ferdinando Verderi, the campaign continues Prada’s tradition of merging fashion and cinema, presenting its FW26 collection as both a visual identity and a provocation for discovery.
