XL Recordings Announces Posthumous Gil Scott-Heron Album 'Nothing New'

In celebration of the 65th birthday of the late Gil Scott-Heron, XL Recordings has announced that they will be releasing a posthumous album from the legendary recording artist entitled Nothing New. The album will be released on vinyl exclusively for this year’s Record Store Day (April 19), and will feature 14 stripped down versions of older songs by Heron.
