Originally utilized on Nike SB‘s classic Dunk seven years ago before making its way to Nike Basketball and Kobe Bryant’s Kobe VII back in 2012, the “What The” motif makes a return this spring – this time hitting the latest signature silhouettes for LeBron James and Kevin Durant. While the LeBron 11 remixes eight product design elements and incorporates 20 different graphics from previous LeBron signatures (including the LeBron VII’s tongue detailing and the Akron map of the LeBron V), the KD VI melds 35 different graphics and colorways from each of the previous KD VI releases, adopting everything from a Maryland blue crab-inspired Swoosh to “Aunt Pearl” florals and more. Look for the Nike LeBron 11 “What The LeBron” to hit Nike Basketball retailers on May 31 while the Nike KD VI “What The KD” drops June 7.
