Nike KD VI "Maryland Blue Crab"

Honoring his home of Maryland and his own appetite for the state’s renowned blue crabs, Kevin Durant and Nike‘s design team present a “Maryland Blue Crab” edition of Durant’s signature Nike KD VI. Inspired by the crab feasts KD would frequent throughout his childhood, kicks come reminiscent of the crab itself thanks to exact Pantone hues to match those of the crabs’ legs and pinchers – not to mention a shell-like textured effect throughout the upper. The theme is even transported to the shoe’s outsole as legs and pinchers adorn the usual holographic “KD” logo. A fitting tribute to a Maryland staple, the “Maryland Blue Crab” KD VI is due to hit select Nike retailers beginning November 29.
