Having been in talks with Faribault Woolen Mills for a while now about designing a vintage blanket, creative agency Free Man & Co. informs us today that it has finally come to fruition. Drawing inspiration from the Canadian military blankets that were seen during the first half of the 20th century, the 100% wool cover features a hand screen-printed maple leaf emblem with a three-inch-wide woven maroon strip that runs across the top and bottom edges. Heavy, durable and breathable, this blanket follows military specifications with its “foot soldier size” and tough serge stitching. This collaborative piece is currently available for pre-order here.
