Here’s some smooth, laidback music that feels tailor-made for Sunday cruises off the Pacific Coast Highway, courtesy of North Carolina up-and-coming rapper Wally Left. Wally Left probably isn’t completely on your radar yet, but with his dexterous flow and reserved-yet-sharp approach to emceeing he should be on your playlist soon. His new track “Welch Chamberlain” is produced by Rome Clientel, and just like the NBA legend for whom the track takes its title, Wally Left’s slick style revolves around the “grape and gold.” Throughout the track, Wally drives home the “grapes and gold” phrase, and exudes a cool and confident tone that almost makes you think he grew up in the Lakers’ homebase.  Keep an eye out for his name, because Wally Left has a new project slated for a Fall release.
