Kap G - Jose Got Dem Tacos

Kap G is one of the few southern rappers who can claim to be truly “unique,” as he’s probably the only Atlanta-born Mexican rapper who is currently making waves, and has worked with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, and Pharrell. The FADER premiered the video for Like A Mexican selection “Jose Got Dem Tacos,” and like his lyrics’ drug-doused content suggests, its visual component revolves around a drug deal. The ominous dread producer Drumma Boy laces Kap G’s bars with provides the perfect aural background for the ill-fated venture the young rapper partakes in, and despite the subject matter the track is pretty catchy in the same way songs by fellow Georgia-bred acts like Migos are.
