Following the release of his OFF-WHITE line, Virgil Abloh debuts his women’s line via this styling shoot. Titled “I Only Smoke When I Drink,” the collection features monochromatic hues on an array of street-ready silhouettes — championing a street-meets-high fashion appeal that straddles the line between refined tailoring and a rugged sensibility. The label’s signature diagonal stripes can be seen on the front of windbreakers, hip pockets of double-breasted biker jackets, and the back of frayed waist coats. Collegiate lettering — a reminiscent of his Pyrex label — is printed on crotches, while crop tops and torn denim jeans paired with Air Force 1s provide retro styling cues. Describing his collection as a “boyfriend-girlfriend type relationship,” enjoy the looks here and stay tuned for more.
