Shamir Bailey, who just goes by Shamir as a stage name, recently stopped by Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 show. The Las Vegas resident performed three tracks, “On the Regular,” “I Know It’s a Good Thing” (from his acclaimed debut EP, Northtown), and a brand new track “In For the Kill.” In between his performances, the singer-songwriter details on his debut record with XL, which will be out next spring, and proclaims that Mac DeMarco is the person he’d most like to collaborate with.
