One of the latest projects completed by architectural firm Atelier Oslo is a contemporary cabin located in Norderhov, Norway. The modern home sits juxtaposed against the Krokskogen forests that surround the cabin, with its clean lines and wooden exterior paying complement to its natural environment. The cabin is made from basalt, plywood and timber, while its interior is tinged with a light beige color theme. Its open concept layout expose the rural, outdoor wilderness and enable considerable sunlight exposure – a vital element for those Scandinavian winter months.
