John Galliano is set to premiere his very first collection as Creative Director of Maison Martin Margiela in London. The occasion marks Galliano’s return to the runway since his departure from Dior in 2011 following an alleged anti-Semitic tirade in a Paris bar. Known for his robust, historically-inspired womens collections and feminine design approach, Galliano is seen as a unique and unusual fit for a fashion house known for its deconstructed patterns and luxury footwear line.
