Markus “Notch” Persson, the creator of the highly popular game Minecraft just dropped a whopping $70 million on the most expensive house in Beverly Hills. Word on the street is that the Swede outbid power couple Jay Z and Beyoncé to become the owner of this 23,000-square-foot 8-bedroom, 15-bathroom mega mansion that also features an 18-seat screening room, a car showroom, candy room (yes, apparently that’s a thing), vodka and tequila bar, and an infinity pool with iPad-controlled fountains. Furthermore each bathroom is equipped with the high-end Toto Neorest toilet, which is priced at $5,600 USD. In case you’re wondering about how Persson managed to afford this extravagant residence, he sold Mojang (the developer of the game) along with the Minecraft franchise to Microsoft for an astounding $2.5 billion USD earlier in the year.
