This season marks one of PUMA‘s boldest collaborative efforts yet as they align with McQ to create a collection heavily inspired by human anatomy. One of the defining examples of this theme is the Run Lo, which utilizes an exterior cage as an exoskeleton to mimic that of tendons and ribcages. The effect is achieved through a careful TPU overlay process which creates a contrast between Sarah Burton’s gothic language and PUMA’s performance-driven offerings. Respectively, the effort between PUMA and McQ represents different parts of the fashion spectrum. On one hand, PUMA’s fabled sporting heritage and innovation is infused with a liberal dosage of youth-driven culture and creativity courtesty of McQ.
