This week we hand-picked 16 tracks to be featured in the 56th episode of our HYPETRAK Playlists. D’Angelo is the cover artist this time around with his single “Sugah Daddy” off Black Messiah, which is the first album he released since his critically acclaimed Voodoo from nearly 15 years ago. Chance the Rapper makes the cut more than once with the Young Chop-produced song “Stevie Wonder” and the more laid back “Cold Stares.” Chance and Chop aren’t the only Chicago natives to be featured; you will find Kanye West and Chief Keef in the track “Nobody,” released by the latter in his sophomore album of the same title. Further down the list you will come across Kendrick Lamar‘s untitled track that he had performed for the last episode of The Colbert Report.
