Sam Smith is the Only Artist To Hit One Million Album Sales in US and UK

There is no doubt UK crooner Sam Smith has catapulted to fame with his astounding debut album In The Lonely Hour. In addition to receiving widespread critical acclaim, it’s now been confirmed that Smith is the only artist to sell 1 million albums in both the USA and the UK in 2014, according to Official Charts. Fellow Brit singer Ed Sheeran was the only contender in UK sales, however, Sam is the only one to win the battle for across the pond. The good news doesn’t stop there, as Smith also had his second Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 Hit this week with his hit track “I’m Not The Only One.” Let us know what you think of this below.
