On-demand cab service company Uber is expected to announce a new partnership with music streaming giant Spotify, The New York Times reports. The deal would allow passengers to listen to their own playlists during their car ride. Allegedly, users will be able to access Spotify via Uber’s mobile app upon ordering a ride. While most details are expected to be unveiled today November 17, one thing is for certain: passengers must have a Spotify account to stream music during their ride.
