J. Cole Announces New Album

After speculation first hit the digital sphere earlier this weekend, J. Cole has now officially announced the title and release date of his third solo album. Titled 2014 Forest Hills Drive, it will be available for purchase everywhere on December 9. The album title is taken from the address of his childhood home in Fayetteville, NC, which he had repurchased this June for $121,000. His neighbors are cordially invited for a listening session on November 29 and 30 at the house. For the rest of us who live elsewhere, we’ll have to pre-order his “homecoming” album here.
