In the lead-up to the 2015 SIHH watch show, Panerai has announced one of the watches to be featured in its 2015 collection, namely the PAM 580. Housed in a 44mm bead-blasted matte black advanced ceramic case, the PAM 580 features flyback chronograph timing capability with its P.9100 in-house automatic mechanical Panerai caliber movement, which is visible through the case back. The black dial sports hour indices and numerals that are carved out to reveal a sandwiched luminous plate underneath. The timepiece is powered by a 72-hour power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 10 bars. Look for this watch, along with many others, to be exhibited at the SIHH in January 2015.
