Missoni x Converse 2014 Fall/Winter Chuck Taylor All Star '70s Collection
The Missoni x Converse 2014 fall/winter Chuck Taylor All Star ’70s first took the runway by storm

The Missoni x Converse 2014 fall/winter Chuck Taylor All Star ’70s first took the runway by storm during Milan fashion week this year. Today, we get a closer look at the two styles that boast qualities from both mainstays. First up is the Zip Suede. Crafted from three varied brown suede tones and Missoni’s chevron pattern to create a subtle contrasting look, the sneaker pays homage to Japanese “boro” patchwork and is lined with Mission mohair — a durable yard made from Angora goat hair — for a complacent finish. Following this pursuit is the Zip shearling, a bold design that boasts high insulation with its encase of luscious sheep wool. Its audacious makeup finds the uncut shearling spill out of the ankle opening, further complementing the brown zigzag stripe upper. Converse Chuck Taylor’s iconic stitched label at the ankle, alongside a durable rubber sole round out both silhouettes with a classic, athletic touch, while Missoni’s terracotta color found on each sockliner completes the range with meticulous detailing. The Missoni x Converse collection will be available for purchase on December 5 from select stores worldwide for the price of $200 USD for the Suede, and $250 USD for the Shearling.
