Nintendo Adds Link to the Mario Kart 8 Roster and Previews the "Master Cycle"

In a surprising move very few could have anticipated, Nintendo will be including The Legend of Zelda‘s very own swordsman, Link as a downloadable character in Mario Kart 8. Worlds will further collide through this power-move decision of implementing a popular character of a distinct game series into another. Following up on its initial announcement, Nintendo USA’s Twitter released the first image of the exclusive motor vehicle, created just for Link dubbed the “Master Cycle.” Teased to have “plenty of horsepower,” the “Master Cycle” is just one of a number of new vehicles that will be included in the game’s first downloadable content pack scheduled for next month.
