With bass guitar accompaniment, simplicity is key in this new release from California producer/singer-songwriter, Public School. Just because the track is minimalistic, however, it does not take away from the impressive offering from the multi-talented musician. The vocals are the clear standout on the contemplative tune, which was co-written by Allie X and Mike Wise. If you have yet to hear of Public School, upon listening to “Don’t Wake Me Up,” you’ll probably be asking for more.
