Succeeding the Nexus Q, a commercial flop by all accounts, Google unveils its latest multimedia streaming device with the Nexus Player. Directly following Chromecast, the Nexus Player will stream your favorite shows and movies with Android TV, allow for the play of video games, and offer countless Android and iOS apps for download. Made in conjunction with ASUS, this system includes a sleek console, a remote with voice search capabilities, and a gaming controller (sold separately for $39 USD), while its technical features include a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 802.11ac 2×2 (MIMO), and HDMI out. For those interested, the Google Nexus Player will be available November 3 for $99 USD, with pre-order available this Friday.
