When history and fashion come together, sometimes the meeting makes a rather superficial product. Every so often though, a truly thoughtful collection comes out. Ronnie Fieg and KITH have had time to stew in the midst of their store revamp, and though September has now come and gone, its symbolism – the 11th day, to be specific – casts a shadow too important, too integral to KITH’s own history, to ignore. It’s with this notion that the New York-bred atelier presents the “Never Forget” collection, encapsulating the Big Apple’s bravest and finest with a meticulously-crafted capsule. A range of crisply-cut crewnecks and sweatpants are nicely complimented by the Warren Poncho – exuding a certain modern ‘watchman’ vibe – and the heroic Chambers Jacket, both of which are done up with seasonally-appropriate ripstop and reflective hits. Alongside this, the Ronnie Fieg x adidas Originals EQT Support ‘93 will also drop.
