Celebrating Louis Vuitton‘s iconic monogram print, the French luxury brand called upon an impressive list of artists and designers to reinterpret the intertwining letters on a selection of fashion and lifestyle goods. Here, Karl Lagerfeld reinterprets the classic punching bag with elegance, utilizing the extravagant pattern to wrap the bag’s exterior. The bold piece is presented in a boxing trunk which also doubles as a travel closet, that’s crafted with traditional flair and detailed with cowhide trim and aged brass buckles. As part of the set, a separate suitcase is also adorned in monogram and stores boxing gloves and accessories. Priced at $175,000 USD, the punching bag set is produced in a limited quantity of 25. Other designers to celebrate Louis Vuitton’s monogram canvas via unique designs include Rei Kawakubo, Christian Louboutin, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry and Marc Newson.
