Slam Dunk x Jordan Brand Teaser

The fictional world of Japanese cult manga Slam Dunk is set to enter the real world in conjunction with Jordan Brand. A short video teaser presents quick cuts of an upcoming footwear release that will be unveiled with a launch set for October 18. The Slam Dunk series penned by storied Japanese artist Takehiko Inoue has been created as a driving force in pushing the sport of basketball in the country of Japan and Asia. The original Slam Dunk series debuted in 1990 and ran until 1996 before making the jump into anime courtesy of Toei Animation, in which it became one of the most globally-embraced animes especially in the realm of sports.
