Feted as one of todays’ go-to authorities for ‘A briefing on global affairs, business, culture and design,’ London-based, Monocle offers a look inside its new office and retail space in the Tomigaya area of Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
Its belief in a globally-minded audience hungry for experiences beyond their national borders sees Monocle showcasing its usual mix of international brands, as well as various store exclusives. You can expect to see labels such as Porter and Barena next to in-house label, Monocle Voyage.
Amongst the many magazines, you can also find digestible publications such as, The Monocle Guide to Good Business beautifully presented on functional storage solutions from USM Furniture and Vitsoe shelving. All of which has been fashioned in the brand’s signature yellow. And on top of this already impressive space, it has a fully functional radio station to help support Monocle 24.
Behind the physical store is an 86sqm office space shared with design agency Winkreative. Helping manage affairs from yet another corner of the globe from an area packed with potential.
