Boiler Room LA x Ray Ban - Visual Impressions

Right before the release of Hudson Mohawke’s Chimes EP, Boiler Room LA teamed up with Ray Ban to host a star-studded Warp showcase that featured live sets from TNGHT’s Lunice, Oneohtrix Point Never, HudMo himself, as well as a rare appearance by Busta Rhymes and the debut of SOPHIE and A. G. Cook’s musical collaboration “Hey QT” by QT and an introduction by Eric Wareheim of Tim & Eric. On top of that Flying Lotus and his rapping alter ego Captain Murphy served as surprise guests during Hudson’s set. The show was rounded by an impressive choreography by Kaz Matamur featuring a shogun, butoh and classical dancers, and puppeteers.
