Distinct Life x USUAL Custom Akai MPC 2500

Headed by Rick Williams, Detroit-based imprint Distinct Life‘s vision in creating directional lifestyle goods stretches from sneakers to accessories. Its latest endeavors delves deeper into its interests in hip-hop, and most prominently, one of the leading icons from its city, J. Dilla. This harmonious collaboration between Distinct Life and USUAL pays homage to the late great producer via a custom creation rendition of the MPC 2500 — an instrument made popular by J. Dilla. Featuring camo print paneling, the Distinct Life x USUAL Custom Akai MPC 2500 is now on display at the Distinct Life pop-up shop at Complex Michigan throughout August. Stay tuned for more on release dates and availability via Distinct Life.
