The definition behind the word “football” has always seen a divide in opinion between the United States and United Kingdom, a topic NBC Sports has chosen to highlight via its latest comedy skit featuring SNL comedian Jason Sudeikis. Here, Sudeikis plays Tottenham Hotspur‘s manager Ted Lasson who guides the team via his own values in football — an obvious mix up in regulations, plays and, as it seems, cultural terminology.
