Converse Japan 2013 Fall/Winter Chuck Taylor All Star Cigarpocket Hi

Converse Japan has made some forward assertions on classic silhouettes of late. From the Jack Purcell to the ChevronStar Hi, no silhouette seems safe from the brand’s unique, somewhat experimental detailing, garnishes and colorways. Such is the case with a newly unveiled iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star, which finds the shoe executed with a neat zippered pocket along the side of the shoe. While there are probably a number of things you could hide away in the pocket, the sneaker has been dubbed the “Cigarpocket Hi.” Navy and forest green versions of the shoe have been released, offset by an orange interior and canvas trim around the top of the vulcanized sole. Look for the Chuck Taylor All Star Cigarpocket Hi at retailers such as atmos for ￥8,295 JPY (approximately $85 USD).
