Equally inspired by Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant, his roots in the D.C. area, and the East Coast’s love of rugged basketball footwear, Nike Sportswear has officially unveiled its forthcoming “Weatherman” pack. Featuring two takes on the Foamposite One, the pack also features a corresponding edition of the Lunarlon-cushioned Air Force 1 CMFT. Reminiscent of a Doppler radar, the blue colorways mimic the radar’s depiction of both the calm and intense while the red version of the Foamposite One reflects that of a relentless Thunderstorm. Look for the blue Foams and matching AF1 to be available at NSW retailers across the globe beginning August 30 while the red Foamposites will drop the following month on September 28. All three are due to be available early as an exclusive release in Shanghai this Sunday, August 18 as a part of the “Ignite Shanghai” collection.
