Kevin Durant may be one of the world’s premier basketball players, but he once had a very different profession in mind. “I always wanted to be a weatherman when I was growing up,” he said prior to the launch of his fourth signature model dubbed, naturally, the “Weatherman.” ”I like natural disasters, so they made a very nice shoe around that theme.” The Doppler radar-inspired colorway has since found its way onto Durant’s subsequent sneakers — including his latest, the Nike KD VI — and the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 CMFT QS “Weatherman” hinted here.
