Street photographer Adrian Skenderovic utilizes his acute eye for neglection in his latest photography project. Delving into the desolate village basketball courts from across the world, Skenderovic‘s spontaneous style is furthered in his “Lost Hoops” series. Collecting lonely basketball hoops from his travels, the images highlight the neglected hoops in solitary charm, each presenting its own story and personality over the years of use. The images also show the suburban environments and how a basketball hoop — no matter how tired it may be — is still an essential institution in the local community.
