The Barbados-by-way-of-Brooklyn rapper Haleek Maul is back after an impressive collaborative mixtape with Supreme Cuts called Chrome Lips. Once again, the young talent proves he has an ear for production by linking up with English producer Forest Swords. The resulting combination is as dark and murky as Haleek Maul fans are accustomed to hearing. Forest Swords is currently prepping his debut LP Engravings, which is due out August 26; check out his latest single “The Weight of Gold.” With this being Haleek’s first offering since the aforementioned mixtape, could he be prepping a new project as well?
