With a monkey wrench getting thrown into the plans for Stephen Colbert‘s “Stephest Colbchella 013,” following Daft Punk‘s cancelation due to contractual obligations with MTV’s VMAs, the late night TV host had to figure out some way to please his corporate sponsors, who helped fund the project. Since the festival’s special guest weren’t going to be in attendance to deliver the song of the summer, Colbert decided to up the ante by bringing out another headlining act… Himself. Enlisting a few of his A-list celebrity friends, Colbert let Daft Punk’s smash hit “Get Lucky” provide his backdrop music as he showed off some of his personal best choreography. Joined by the likes of Jeff Bridges, Hugh Laurie, Matt Damon, Jimmy Fallon, Bryan Kranston, the Rockettes and more, you can view the humorous performance in full by pressing play up above.
