Pusha T’s debut album My Name Is My Name has been pushed back for a month. Initially scheduled for a July 16 release, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper has announced that the will come “a month” later without giving further specifics. In a conversation with Power 98, Pusha has further promised a “classic hip-hop album:”
“But at the end of the day, I still stand my ground. That’s politics and logistics. My album is the best album of the year… I think the streets are going to have a classic hip-hop album. My Name is My Name is definitely the hardest album that’s going to come out this year for sure”
He further revealed that Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Kendrick Lamar, Wale and Future are among those that contributed on the album while Swizz Beatz, Kanye, Nottz, Pharrell and The-Dream are handling the production — and Cruel Winter is not happening anytime soon.
