Some time ago, we caught up with one Hanni El Khatib, fresh off of a creative direction tenure with HUF and starting a career in music. After several successful placements with Nike and Nissan, touring with Florence + the Machine, and the release of a full album, it’s probably safe to say El Khatib is doing well for himself. The Los Angeles-based artist presently debuts a music video for his recently-released single “Penny.” While the song is about a cherished relationship, and sweetly crooned by El Khatib and his band, the music video humorously juxtaposes the sunny Motown-inflected pop song.
