Getting a jump-start on this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, Microsoft finally revealed concrete launch info for its highly-anticipated Xbox One console. Fans can expect the Xbox One to launch across the globe on November 30, 2013 at a single price-point of $499.99 USD for a special “Day One Edition” of the console; by comparison, the Xbox 360 launched in November of 2005 for $300 or $400 USD (depending on the inclusion of the original’s external hard drive). The $499.99 USD “Day One Edition” includes Kinect alongside a special edition controller, premium packaging, a custom decal, and a code to unlock a “Day One” achievement via Xbox LIVE.
