Marc Quinn x Bamford Watch Department Rolex Deepsea Collection
The result of a chance meeting between British artist Marc Quinn and George Bamford this past

The result of a chance meeting between British artist Marc Quinn and George Bamford this past December on the tiny private Caribbean island of Mustique, Quinn and renowned timepiece customizers Bamford Watch Department present a special collaborative collection featuring Rolex‘s Deepsea model. Offering a trio of the modern take on Rolex’s Submariner and Sea-Dweller divers’ watches of the ’50s and ’60s, the collection sees the Deepsea in Bamford’s signature Military Grade Titanium matte black coating while Quinn’s obvious contribution takes the form of the design’s face – a beautiful globe motif paired with a depiction of the human iris and airplanes for both the hour and minute hands. Low-, Mid-, and High-Altitude colorways of the luxurious piece come in a custom “black box” flight recorder-esque case and will be available in-store from London’s Dover Street Market beginning Thursday, June 13.
